Contemporary Romantic Suspense by Justine Wittich
Nevada Shay has done her best to distance herself from the theater, but now she has an actor/dancer living one floor up. And Mackenzie Reid insists on discovering her secrets — such as the reason she avoids the theater, her all-night talk radio show, ”Night Words,” and the fact that a stalker wants to destroy her. Justine "Tina" Wittich has written "something" ever since she learned to scribble letters. Journalism sounded good, so she got her degree in journalism, but then she worked in radio, and liked writing radio copy better. But then she got married and they moved all the time, and about the time they settled she had children and a traveling husband and there were swimming classes (Tina taught the synchronized swim group) and tennis lessons and all that good stuff. She worked as a secretary, but soon took over editorship of a regional magazine, where she realized what she'd always suspected fiction is much more fun to write than fact. To support her unpublished writing habit, she freelanced public relations, and helped business college students look for jobs, after first teaching them professional development.
